Aloo Paratha


Ingredients :-

Boiled Potatoes 2 ( medium to large as needed )

Turmeric Powder 1/2 Tsp

Ajwain / Caraway Seeds 1/2 Tsp

Chat Masala or Amchur Pwdr 1/2 Tsp

Onion 1 Small Thinly Chopped

Corriander / Cilantro Leaves 1/2 Cup Thinly Chopped

Ginger A small piece thinly chopped

Salt 1/2 tsp

Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp

Or Green Chillies 1-2 ( thinly chopped - Optional )

Butter 2 Tsp - 2 Tbsp

****You will need Wheat Atta /Dough prepared in advance *****

( Utensils required :- Tawa, spatula, spoon )

Yogurt ( as much needed )

Pickle ( Optional )

Method :-

1) Take the above all the ingredients in a big size bowl & combine everything well.

2) Divide and make equal amount of balls .

3) Take 1 atta ball , dust some dry atta/ flour and make a small circle and fill in 1 small scoop of potato filling prepared , seal and dust some dry atta again and make roti without putting too much pressure.

If you are making for the first time, it will for surely break - but i assure you , if you keep making once in a while you will soon be expert .

5) Smear good amount of butter on both sides "for it to get that golden /brown color and it enhances the taste "

6) Serve it with Aam ka achhar/ any mango lime Pickle and sweet yogurt .

To prepare Sweet Yogurt :- Mix together 1 Tbsp of yougurt with 1/2 tsp of Sugar . Mix well .

Tadaaaaaaaa ....Your Yummy Breakfast is ready . Can be made any time of the day breakfast/ lunch or dinner .
