Tuvar Dal Dosa

Ingredients :-
Tuvar Dal / Pigeon Peas Split 1/2 Cup
Rice 1 & 1/2 Cup Asafoetida 1/2 Tsp
Onion 1/2 Or Small
Curry Leaves 5-6 Leaves
Dry Red Chillies 2
Coriander / Cilantro Handful
Method :-
1) Wash thrice and soak the Rice & Dal separately in different bowls, overnight or for 4-5 hrs.
2) The water level should be one level above the ingredients.
3) After 4 hrs -
a) In the Grinder Jar Add the rice - Grind into paste
Add Asafoetida, Salt, Corriander, Onion, Dry Red Chilli & Coarse Grind . and then add Tuvar dal - Coarse grind .
Or simply add rice grind into paste and then add rest of the stuff and further coarse grind.
4) Add 1 Tsp of Salt & let it ferment 5-6 Hrs .
5) When you start making the dosa, you can add 2 Tbsp of water & mix well just incase if it is very thick.
6) Heat the Tawa, when it is Hot enough , take a laddle and add 1 scoop of batter & make dosa ( circle) and sprinkle little oil and roast one side and later flip & roast the other side .
Repeat !
