Banana fritters


Banana Fritters is my all time favorite snack, you can make it with any ripe banana .My favorite way to make Banana fritters is by only with the plantain that we get it in south of India (Kerala). In my house its always my Dad who makes it & its made into perfection everything he makes it ...im drooling right now thinking about it.

Excuse me for the Video quality, this was my 1st attempt for making a video for which i was too excited.

Ingredients :-

Ripe Banana/ Ripe Plantain ( as many needed ) 3

Maida / All -Purpose Flour 2

Cinnamon Powder 1/2 Tsp (Optional )

Salt 1/2 Tsp ( As per taste )

Cardamom Powder 1/2 Tsp

Oil For Deep Frying .

Water 1 cup or as much needed

Turmeric Powder A pinch ( Optional )

Method :-

1) Peel the Skin of banana & Slit them Half & those half's into half again.

2) In a bowl mix together 1- 2 cups of Flour, add salt , cinnamon powder, Cardamom Powder, Turmeric Powder & enough water so the batter forms droopy consistency and can coat well with the banana.

3) In a deep pan / Wok ,take enough oil for deep frying the banana until golden brown .

You can eat just as it is when little warm to eat OR serve it with whipping cream & sprinkle some chocolate syrup over it.
