Potato Roast


A very Easy ..or i can easiest sabzi as a side dish. I bet anybody cant cook it . you can add or reduce the spicy as per your own taste.

Ingredients : -

Oil 2 tbsp

Cumin Seeds / Jeera 1tsp

Fennel Seeds /Sauf 1 Tsp

Onion Chopped 1 Small

Potato cut into equal size 2- 3 ( as needed)

Salt 1/2 Tsp

Turmeric Powder 1/2 Tsp

Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp

Garam Masala Powder 1/2 - 1 Tsp

Red Chilli Powder 1 Tsp ( As per taste )

Caraway Seeds / Ajwain 1/2 Tsp

kasturi Methi Crushed in palm 1/2 Tsp

Method :-

1) Peel and chop potatoes (3 ) in equal size( do not chop very thick)

2) Take a Wok / Pan , Add oil ,once hot add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds , 1 tsp of Fennel Seeds , 1 small or 1/2 chopped onion , add potato and salt - combine all well .

3) Add turmeric powder , coriander powder , Garam Masala powder, Red chilly powder, 1/2 tsp of caraway seeds, 1/2 Tsp crushed kasturi methi, sprinkle very little water , cover and cook for 10 mins on low flame- until the potatoes are cooked completely or you can cook little extra you roast a bit extra .

Your Potato Roast is ready - its that easy .
