How about a healthy breakfast today ? It easy & quick. When in hurry make wheat dosa or cheela .
Ingredients:-
Wheat Atta/ Flour 1-2 Cups ( as needed )
Jeera /Cumin Seeds 1 Tsp
Salt 1 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 to 1 Tsp ( as needed ) Or very thinly chopped Green Chillies
Curry Leaves 5-10 Thinly Chopped
Onion 1 small Thinly chopped
Water 1- 2 Cups ( or extra to make a perfect batter)
Oil 1/2 cup ( sprinkle as required )
* A whisker .
Method :-
1) Preferably in a round bottom bowl ,add Wheat Atta / Flour .
* ( Round bottom :- That's because its easy to mix everything together & nothing sticks to the corner )
2) Add Salt(Namak ) , Red Chilly Powder (Lal mirch powder) (Or you can add green chillies chopped very finely ), Cumin Seeds/ Jeera.
3) Add Very thinly chopped Onion and thinly chopped Curry Leaves.
* Thinly because its easy to make a circle while making dosa
4) Add Water little by little and using a hand blender or whisk or any tool - stir until there are no lumps and the batter should be just like dosa batter ...a flowing consistency not watery . And set aside for 15 Mins ..till this time you can make chutney of your choice or the one i have mentioned below.
5) After 15 Mins, Take Flat Pan /Tawa and let it be hot enough and then pour the batter 1 or 2 scoop at a time ,as needed and make a circle as shown in the picture .And sprinkle some oil (any cooking oil ) & let the flame be on medium to high heat and roast both the sides as shown in the picture . And then place them in the dish ..before you start with the next .
* A tip here is :- while making any dosa/ Cheela, Before pouring the batter let the flame be on low flame ...make circle and then increase the heat.
