A DIY corner of my home !
Hello Friend ! This time around on Home Decor its DIY! Like many of you , i too am crazy for home decor & home styling.
Since childhood i am always drawn towards DIY's & creating best out of waste... was & still is one of my favorite hobby. Being Creative comes naturally to me. While decorating my home, i gather things from different corners and rooms and keep playing around, until i reach my level of satisfaction with a particular look.
LOOK 1 :-
what is your immediate reaction on the picture of photo frame (below) with Lord Buddha in it ? Do you like it ?
Not always you need high end products to beautify any space. Make use of things which are already there with you & make an everlasting impression !
For creating that look i made use of a book filled with buddha pictures & which in itself a find at a sale! I had no clue when i bought it that i would turn this into a photo frame.
Few more frame ideas that can be created are ;-
* By adding any of your favorite brass or silver household items.
* Your child's favorite toy or toys that he/she doesn't play with it any more, can add up to their favorite wall decor pieces. Or a sheet from a story book which their favorite or 1st book they ever had Or a T Shirt which has their favorite character and doesn't fit any more.
* your favorite clicked pictures .
* Your Sketches of your favorite person.
* Your grandma's or mom's beautiful old sari which is completely worn out but cannot be thrown
either especially due to sentimental values , if a piece of it can be measured as per the frame , cut and framed , that can be a piece of treasure (memories )that you can hold on & pass on with generations to come.
* Dry leaves and flowers which you pressed & flattened it in your book ,with little spray paint or just like that ..
LOOK 2 :-
The below frame with pictures is gifted by my lovely sis ,which is again book full of pictures which was just a book since more than an 2 decade ....no kidding ;)
You can see unless you disclose it is not easy for anyone to know about it .
Create a look however you prefer. As i had mentioned in my previous post on home decor, i am a minimalist , too many things makes me nervous , less things less clutter happier me :) :)
Few of other pictures from the book can be switched/ changed whenever required or bored seeing the same.
Look 3 :-
In this particular look , i have made use of bright pillow covers, which is an exact size match to the photo frame. If possible have it properly ironed to give it a crisp look , which i skipped.

Note :- There are some who save others pictures even after adding copyright sign and use them as their own by cropping and removing the water mark, not sure what satisfaction you get out this. Please look for better option to better yourself.
